This is one of my favourite videos from the 90′s. That Spike Jonze kid really knows what he’s doin’. I know you’re looking at this and you’re saying to yourself “what’s the big deal?”, well the big deal is this, that guy is really on fire. There’s no digital effects at play here, the guy is just plain ol’ on fire. The pitch for this video must have been great.
Spike Jonze: “So I’m gonna set this guy on fire, and I’m going to film him running.”
Record Label: “Thats great, hey aren’t you the guy who filmed that band in a room playing a song and then some dogs kind of run through the video”
